I bought a domain for a blog 6 months ago (August 2021). We had just moved to a new city, embarked on a completely foreign (to us) life, and left behind basically every “comfort” we had known.
Why do this?
- Because I’ve learned being uncomfortable helps you grow
- Because I love reading others blogs, and truly I’d like for them to make a comeback
- Because being vulnerable and sharing your experiences allows for connection
So why now? Haven’t you tried to blog before?
- Yes, I’ve blogged a few different times, when traveling abroad, when we moved to SC.
- I’ve felt a stirring in my heart to process things out loud, in real time.
- Why not me? Why not now?
Why “Find You Here”?
- I’m planning an entire post on this
- BUT- its based on the title of one of my favorite songs, “Find You Here,” by Ellie Holcomb
- I’m hoping that in sharing about myself and my family’s journey, you can find yourself in my words, and by chance, find faith as well.
